Organic Tank BV engaged Verf Van der Feer to carry out the technical renovation of their organic waste storage tanks. Clear signs of corrosion were visible on large sections of the aluminum substrate. In addition, the entire surface was contaminated with oil, grease, and atmospheric pollutants. The existing coatings showed signs of aging, discoloration, and localized delamination, necessitating a thorough approach.
Prior to the painting work, an intensive cleaning was performed using ND14 to effectively remove all contaminants and create a suitable substrate. The areas that had been derusted and prepared down to the bare metal were then treated with the PVDF primer to ensure optimal adhesion and long-lasting corrosion protection. Subsequently, the tanks were finished with Zinsser Allcoat Exterior, applied in two coats for a durable and weather-resistant finish.
Thanks to the specialized technical advice and close collaboration with Verf Van der Feer, a high-quality and durable end result was achieved. Organic Tank BV now once again has storage tanks that not only technically meet the required protection standards but also have a neat and professional appearance.
